*Includes Spoilers from the Show and Book Series* In the last episode of Season 3 of 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' called "At Last" we finally get our endgame. The will they/won't they of Conrad and Belly finally comes to the forefront of the series in plot IN PARIS. This was as seamless and perfect as one could ask of a series finale! We are so excited to breakdown all of the scenes. From Jeremiah finding his way the new culinary world & making real progress in moving on from Belly with new goals/attitude/focus to Staylor trying to navigate a big decision to move to San Francisco... the episode gave direction and meaning to everyone. When Conrad gets to Paris, there is awkwardness, tenderness and enough sexy tension between Belly and him to cut with a knife. The Parisian friends are on board but the beautiful journey these two go on is something that is so intriguing to watch even with the love triangle part of the series in the rearview. Conrad lays it all out there and Belly is faced with answering some big questions... but are there things we don't get? Yup. But don't worry, the series and Jenny Han handled that for us too. We are discussing a little bit of fan theories but mostly how we think it will end. Do we think Conrad will be endgame? Yes. Do we think Belly will immediately be thrilled to see him? No. Do we think we will see them come back together? Yes. And if not, Vicky will not be okay... haha. It is the second to last episode of the series and man, did it do a great job tying up some loose ends and giving us hope leading into the finale. We are excited about this super-sized episode and are going to talk through scene by scene as usual. We are ready to discuss the Conrad and Jeremiah conversation, Belly's arc in Paris over the course of 8-9 months and of course, everything set up for chef Jeremiah finding peace, some inklings of Steven/Conrad mending (but we still expect more!) and of course, it's time for Conrad to take a leap of faith and go make a grand romantic gesture by going to see Belly in Conrad after, once again, establishing his LOVE for her - andddd getting a letter/sign back in return. We are so so so excited.

We follow Belly on her journey to Paris for what at first starts as running away but ends with a declaration to find herself. We also thoroughly enjoyed the character development we see and candidly, some of the funnier moments of what happens in the aftermath after the wedding is ruined. From Adam and Conrad to a very hurt and evil apple-eating Jeremiah to Staylor rekindling this episode had a lot of good moments to dissect.

The episode is fun and fast only to end in heartbreak for damn near everyone. Belly's voice is back and so is Taylor Swift singing softly in the background.

There is a lot to unpack as we watch Belly's grief, Jelly trying to stand their ground and gain support for their decision and of course, Conrad coming in with the biggest sacrifice/romantic gesture I think we've seen to date. It hits us in the feels and this episode is the true return to Cousins and the rollercoaster with heart that we've come to love about the series.
