Today on the podcast is Ted Volz, Founder of Clean Energy. Ted graduated from The University of Notre Dame in 2004 with a B.A. in Accountancy. He then went to work with PwC from 2004-2020 before starting his own company, Clean Energy. Clean Energy is a clean-label, certified organic smoothie that has changed the paradigm for on-the-go sports nutrition. It has been recognized by Runner's World as a "Best Food to Eat Before a Run" and is used by many of the top collegiate athletic programs across the NCAA. In this conversation, Ted goes through his passion for athletics, the challenges of creating a company, his dream for Clean Energy, how he handles rejection, and much more!
