He is currently intently training for the 2024 US Olympic Marathon Trials, which will take place on February 3rd in Orlando, Flordia. Previous to his professional running career, he competed for BYU, where he was a multiple-time NCAA Champion and debatably the greatest runner to ever come out of that program. Conner holds PRs of 1:46.99 in the 800m, 3:36.29 in the 1500m, and 3:52.76 in the Mile. In today's conversation, Conner and I discuss NCAA athletes running fast at altitude, his recent training, closing a workout in a 4:09 mile, being mentored by Jared Ward, his thoughts on the trials, and so much more!
