Inside History: A Conversation With Ky Robinson After Winning The 5k & 10k NCAA Titles

Fresh off of making history, Ky Robinson returns to the podcast! Ky made history in Austin Texas this past June by winning the dirty double in dominate fashion. With a 54 second last lap, Ky won the 10k with teammate and former podcast guest Charles Hicks right behind in second. Just two days later, Ky ran it back (no pun-intended) and won the 5k with a 55 second last lap cementing himself in history as one of the few to win the double. For those who aren't familiar with Ky, he is an accomplished athlete with numerous achievements in track and field. He is a multi-time All-American and has competed in the World Championships for both track and field and cross country. Ky holds multiple records at Stanford, including the steeplechase and indoor 3,000 and 5,000. He is also the record-holder for the under-20 steeplechase in Australia and Oceania. Ky has been part of championship-winning teams, such as the West Region XC team and Pac-12 XC team. In addition to his athletic success, Ky has received academic honors and awards for his outstanding performance both on and off the track.
