He competed at Stanford University for four years before transferring to the University of North Carolina to get his master's degree. Alex holds PRs of 3:58 in the Mile, 7:49 in the 3k, 13:18 in the 5k, and 28:49 in the 10k. He also has a Bachelor's Degree in human biology, a minor in psychology, and a master's in public health. Alex is an incredibly perspicacious and ebullient speaker who has a wealth of knowledge, experience, and depth.
