Today on "The Call Room: Road To Seattle" is the Brooks NIL athlete, Shawnti Jackson! Shawnti is a freshman at The University of Arkansas, where she competes as a Track & Field athlete. Shawnti is originally from Creedmoor, North Carolina, and has achieved remarkable things in the sport thus far. She was named the 2023 USATF Youth Athlete of the Year and garnered significant accolades, including being voted International U20 Female Athlete of the Year by Athletics Weekly readers. Jackson's stellar season saw her securing three All-America honors from Track & Field News in the 100m (No. 1), 200m (No. 2), and 400m (No. 4) categories nationally. Notably, she set a national high school record in the 100m with an unbelievable 10.89 victory at the Music City Track Carnival, Nashville, among professional sprinters. Her exceptional performances extended to setting multiple national records during the indoor season and anchoring the U.S. 4 x 100m relay team to an American Junior record at the U20 Pan Am Championships in Puerto Rico.
