The State of The Running Effect Hosted By Olympian & American Record Holder Elise Cranny | A Deep-Dive Into The Beginnings & Future Of The Podcast

This week's episode of the podcast is a very unique one. In July 2020, I started The Running Effect, and since then, I've had the great privilege of speaking to over 60+ amazing guests. Many of you who are avid listeners of the podcast probably don't know the origins of the podcast. So when my good friend Elise Cranny came to me with the idea of doing a show giving listeners an inside look at who I am and how The Running Effect started I couldn't pass! In this episode, we go through my start in the sport of running (which is actually quite hilarious), where the idea of starting a podcast came from, lessons learned from almost 60 episodes, and many other fun questions! I hope this episode will give you all an inside look at the inner workings of this podcast and what our future plans look like! Starting a podcast at 15 years old is far from normal, but I'm immensely glad I did. Being able to help fellow young runners in their pursuit of success is a very rewarding feeling. I hope to continue to push the sport forward through this podcast. Lastly, a massive thank you to Elise for hosting this episode. She's been one of my biggest supporters from Day 1 and is constantly helping out behind the scenes. I joke that she's the CEO of the company, but twisting the meaning to Chief-Encouragement-Officer. Elise truly is one of the most selfless, encouraging, and kindest people I've ever had the privilege to know. One of the most important pieces of advice I was given early in life was to surround yourself with people who will push you to be the best version of yourself. Elise has certainly done that and then some! Not only has Elise helped me become a better human being, but has helped improve this podcast as well.
