In episode forty-two, it’s time for Tohru’s class trip to Kyoto! Romantic shenanigans are abound, while Tohru and Yuki find souvenirs to bring home. Yuki muses over the positive impact Tohru has had on his life and silently offers her gratitude. Kyo and Tohru spend some time alone. In episode forty-three, we learn about Rin and her difficult childhood, which culminated in her parents abandoning her in her teen years.
