During surgery a mistake was made in the anesthesia which stopped his heart for 20 minutes. In fact, doctors pulled the sheet up over his head and a death certificate was placed on his chest. Then he woke up. During Scott's NDE he was escorted by his guardian angel to a beautiful place with tall grasses, trees, and wildflowers all facing him and showing love.
