'Stopping Payments', 'A Carpet Caper' & 'Making a Grave Mistake'

The plaintiff says she and her husband agreed to rent a house from the defendant but changed their minds. They say the defendant promised to refund all their money, but he didn’t, so they’re suing. The plaintiff says he hired the defendant to make a headstone for his father’s grave, but he made a mistake in the date of the engraving. It can’t be repaired, so he has no choice but to sue. The defendant says he sent over paperwork and the plaintiff approved everything. He claims it’s not his fault because the plaintiff signed off on it.
