The plaintiff says he helped out his tenant, the defendant, by lending her money for furniture and a TV, but she posted their conversations on social media and slandered him when he tried to get reimbursed. He’s suing for his money back. The defendant says the plaintiff lavished her with gifts and once stripped naked in front of her and demanded sexual favors from her cousin. She’s countersuing for money she’s out. Then, the plaintiff says he sold the defendant a jacket on eBay and never got payment, even though he knows the defendant received it. He’s suing for the money owed. The defendant says the plaintiff canceled the sale, and he never got the jacket since it was sent to an old address. He’s countersuing for lost wages.
