The plaintiff hired the defendant to design a logo and website for his nonprofit, but the defendant didn’t finish the job. He’s suing for his money back. The defendant says he completed the work, but the plaintiff wouldn’t provide written approval. He’s countersuing for the amount outstanding on the contract. Then, the plaintiff hired the defendant to sand and re-stain her hardwood floors. She claims the defendant showed up late and did a horrible job. Another floor guy even said it was a “disaster.” She’s suing for the return of a security deposit and damages.
