The plaintiff says she bought an orange wig from the defendant, but it’s defective, so she looks foolish wearing it at work. The defendant won’t give her a refund, so she’s suing him. The defendant says he’s a celebrity stylist and created a work of art for her, but she had someone else install it and that person ruined it. He’s countersuing for slander. Then, the plaintiff says he bit into some deep-fried chocolate ice cream at the defendant’s restaurant and felt searing pain and his mouth was bleeding. The emergency room told him he had an oral abrasion, so he’s suing the defendant. The defendant says the plaintiff is just looking for a payday.
