The plaintiff says the defendant is her ex-husband and he owes her. The defendant says the plaintiff offered to take their dog to the vet to get treated but never said anything about the bill or a loan, so he denies owing anything. Then, the plaintiff says the defendant sideswiped her 2002 Lincoln and damaged it. She’s owed money to cover the repairs, so she’s suing. The defendant insists the cops confirmed there’s no way he could have caused the dings, so he’s not paying her a thing. He’s countersuing for harassment. Plus, the plaintiff says she gave the defendant a deposit on a rental apartment, but he double-crossed her and refuses to let her move in. He won’t return the deposit, so she’s suing him. The defendant claims he discovered two prior evictions on the defendant’s credit report and decided not to rent to her.
