About this episode
The plaintiff’s son was fatally shot at his girlfriend’s house. The plaintiff says she asked her other son, the defendant, to pick up the car from the house and bring it to her, but he refuses. She is suing for the value of a car. The defendant says he was close with his brother and had the title to the car and thinks his brother would have wanted him to have it. Then, the plaintiff says she paid a vendor’s fee to sell some jewelry at the defendant’s Juneteenth pop-up shop, but the event was rained out. She says the defendant claimed there was no makeup day, so she’s suing for the fee, transportation, and babysitting fees. The defendant says the plaintiff complained about drizzle, which passed. He claims she left the event, so he’s not responsible. Don’t forget to rate and subscribe so you never miss an episode. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
