About this episode
The plaintiff was redoing his condo and needed to sell his used appliances. He sold four to the defendant’s shop, but he was never paid. The defendant argues only two of the four appliances worked, so he will only pay half of what he owes, not full price. Then, the plaintiff says she put down $1,000 on a car the defendant was selling, but she still doesn’t have the vehicle a year later. She wants her money back, so she’s suing. The defendant claims the plaintiff paid him to fix her car so she could sell it, which he did. He says he owes nothing and is countersuing for his additional costs to fix her car.
