The plaintiffs say they rented an apartment from the defendant, who lived adjacent to them. They claim she has an issue with men and kicked them out, so they’re suing. The defendant claims the plaintiffs continually broke the rules, so she ended their tenancy and returned their security deposit. She’s countersuing for damages and rent owed. Then, the plaintiffs are a husband and wife. The husband went to high school with the defendant, so they hired the defendant to build two new decks on their house. The plaintiffs say the decks were built incorrectly and in bad shape. They’re suing for their money back.
