The plaintiff brings her son’s father to court. She claims the defendant got violent one day when they got into a fight about taking their son to school, and he kicked in the door. She’s suing for the cost to replace the door. The defendant argues the plaintiff should be held partially responsible for the door because she prevented him from entering the home. Then, the plaintiffs say they have a pool maintenance company and they service the defendant’s home. He refuses to pay them for all their work, so they’re suing. The defendant says the plaintiffs asked him if he wanted a new pool cleaning system and he refused, but they installed it anyway. He says he won’t return it since he’s sold his home. Plus, the plaintiff says she paid the defendant for a private training session to strengthen her core muscles, but he put her in a group of women trying to lose weight. She says she wasn’t given the training she paid for and is suing for a refund. The defendant says the plaintiff has existing ailments, so he wanted to test her abilities first.
