Plus, the plaintiff says she loaned the defendant her boat, but he failed to secure it to his dock and it disappeared. She says he promised he would take good care of it but obviously didn’t, so she’s suing for its value. The defendant says the plaintiff stored her boat at his dock and it got stolen.
