The plaintiff says he worked for the hostile defendant on a home renovation project. The plaintiff claims the defendant tried to punch him, so he tased him in return. He’s suing for what he’s owed for his work, plus damage to his truck. The defendant says the plaintiff is liar and he denies throwing a punch. He insists he paid him for his work and owes nothing. Then, the plaintiff says the defendant got her a tent, but it fell down and broke, so she had him return it to the store where he bought it. He said he’d send her the money when the store refunded him, but she claims he pocketed the cash, so she’s suing. The defendant says the plaintiff tried to ruin his reputation by telling everyone he’s a thief after he did her several favors. He’s countersuing for loss of income and pain and suffering.
