The plaintiff says he was forced to pay the entire fee to remove a tree on the property line, and he’s suing for reimbursement and fines. The defendant says the plaintiff’s tree leans on his garage, and the plaintiff intentionally cut the bark off the tree so it would die. He’s filed a countersuit for garage repair and harassment. Plus, the plaintiff says she bought a car from the defendant, but it stopped dead in the middle of the highway. She claims she’s out $4,000 in repairs and says the defendant knew the vehicle was faulty. She’s suing for repair costs, loaner cars, and missed work.
