Plus, the plaintiff says he hired the defendant, an attorney, to help him recover money a construction company stole from him. A year later, nothing has happened, so he’s suing for what he’s owed. The defendant claims he did work with the construction company’s lawyers, but then COVID-19 hit. He says the plaintiff needs to be patient.
