The defendant argues that the plaintiff slammed on the brakes out of nowhere, intentionally causing the accident. The defendant is countersuing for damages to her front bumper. The defendant gave the plaintiff a report saying everything in the house was up to code. But that wasn’t true. A plumber told him he had a big problem and needed to replace all the pipes. Now the plaintiff is suing the defendant for the cost of the new pipes and installation. The defendant argues that he runs a reputable company and thinks a rogue plumber ripped the plaintiff off and is passing the blame onto him.
