The plaintiff says she’s known the defendants for years and loaned them money around the holidays. She claims they’re now taking advantage of her compassion by failing to repay her, so she’s suing them. The defendants say the plaintiff gave them the money as a Christmas gift and then turned around two years later and said it was a loan. Then, the plaintiff says the defendant ran into her car while jogging, damaging the vehicle, and now won’t communicate with her. She had to spend money to repair the car, so she’s suing. The defendant claims the plaintiff hit him so hard he flipped in the air, and says it’s her fault. He is countersuing for the cost of an ambulance.
