After a July 4th fireworks accident happened where JPP lost two fingers from explosives blowing up in his hand, so much of his life came into a clearer focus as the All Pro fought to find his way back on a football field. Learning how to manage simple tasks like tying his shoes and writing, JPP developed a mentality of making the most of every situation and being grateful for life. Looking up to his father for inspiration and motivation to work through the adversity, JPP shares how his father being blind and never complaining kept him grounded during the hard times and showed him that no matter what life puts in front of you, there’s always a way forward.
