This week's episode is a story session about Lindsay's experience of going into menopause at 42, and what she'd like others to know about her experience. While perimenopause is often missed, or misdiagnosed for several years, it's even more likely to be missed for women who go into menopause early before the age of 45. And for women who stop having periods earlier than expected, it's important to have a hormone-savvy practitioner on their team to help them manage the long-term risks of being without estrogen for longer than expected.
