When Oncotect first reached out to me and offered a test for my dog Kimberly, I was like "Sure!" and didn't think too much of it. Then the email with the results hit my inbox and my heart sank. I didn't want to open it. Was it better that I just not know? What if she has cancer? I did open it, breath held, and thank goodness her chances for having cancer based on this test were categorized as "low" I know how well I care for my pets, but I'm aware that cancer can still pop up to anyone at any time.
