Peyton Thomas is an ultrarunner, advocate, and postdoctoral research associate at CU Boulder. She has her PhD in Biology and Marine Biology from UNC where she studied fish physiological responses to environmental stressors (potential future results of global warming). We learned so much about her journey into this space, experience being underrepresented in science, and ways we can utilize the trail running community to help fight for environmental justice.
