The Washington Spirit win the 2021 NWLS Championship for the first time in club history on goals from Andi Sullivan and Kelley O'Hara. It was a tough, well-fought match for both sides. Chicago scores first on a goal from Rachel Hill to end the first half. Andi Sullivan scores the equalizer around the hour mark on a penalty kick. After a full 90-minutes tied at 1-1, they head to two 15-minute overtimes.
