291 // LIVE coaching with Amy: Working with what you HAVE in your home (even if you hate it) when there's no budget for big changes

Hey friend! In this week's podcast I'm chatting with Amy who wants her home to feel bright and airy, but she has a problem. The dark kitchen cabinets, the black countertop and the black tile floor, along with the black dining table are all keeping her from realizing her goals. But with no room in the budget to make these BIG foundational changes to her home, Amy is wanting to know her options. Amy has a couple options: 1. Spend a lot of money she doesn't have replacing everything in the style that she likes it now (not a feasible option). 2. Do nothing and continue hating her home and the way it looks, waiting and wishing for the day when the funds are available for option 1. 3. Learn which changes she can make to lighten up her space, using what she currently has and bringing in supporting items to lighten her open concept home WHILE making it look cohesive. Option 3 may sound too good to be true, but the truth is we often times only see option 1 and option 2 as likely possibilities.
