"I have decision fatigue!" These were the words my Home Design 101 student, Susan, said when we were talking about her couch. Decision Fatigue is when you are so overwhelmed with the myriad of choices in front of you that you don't know how to narrow it down in order to make a design decision. Turns out, Susan does NOT have decision fatigue. She knows EXACTLY what she wants. Why? How? Susan is learning to understand her unique design style and she's applying that style to the decision surrounding her couch. What's the problem then? The problem is that we haven't looked long enough for a couch that meets her aesthetic. I have full confidence that we'll find it.
