About this episode
EPISODE 56 - Clark, Hyung and John open up the episode discussing NBA players who could see a big bump now in card value that the conference finals are set and conversely players who could see a dip heading into the offseason (and might represent good buying opportunities). Then they give their respective opinions on the whole Backyard Breaks controversy, but more importantly give advice on what collectors could do to stay positive in the hobby including one surprising suggestion for those who crave drama to do so by watching one particular Netflix reality TV show! The guys then introduce a new segment called "Over/Under" where Clark presents five cards with a fixed dollar amount. Then Hyung and John guess whether the last sold card price was over or under that amount. Then they discuss whether the current prices of those cards are good buying or selling opportunities. They close off the show with the weekly segment, "Pick One" where each of them put up two cards and subsequently debate which one they rather invest in. The pairs for this episode are Manny Machado Bowman Chrome autograph card vs. Freddie Freeman Bowman Chrome autograph card; Jordan Poole vs. Tyler Herro; and Ja Morant Silver Prizm rookie card (PSA 10) for $1,200 vs. Devin Booker Silver Prizm rookie card (PSA 10) for $2,000.
