EPISODE 137 - Clark and John welcome back Will who filled in for Hyung this week and they kicked off the show with some Connor Bedard talk and what impact his cards will have on the hobby if he plays for the Chicago Blackhawks. They also talked about the rough week (month?) that Panini America has had and whether it's the beginning of the end for the company. Next, for Hobby Headlines, the guys gave their "hobby wishlist" on what they would each like to see happen to improve the sports card industry and make collecting a little more fun. Some ideas include having card manufacturers produce less parallels, less autographs for players to sign on cards or on stickers, making shipping fees more affordable for collectors outside of the U.S., and having more trade nights to name a few. Then they played another round of "Would You Rather" where Clark gave John and WIll two choices related to the hobby to pick from (ie. Would you rather have a PC card that was incredibly off-centered or have four dinged corners?) The guys finish the episode off with the regular "Pick One" segment where each host names two cards or sets, and then debate which one they would rather invest in.
