What do you hear when thinking stops? When wanting stops? Ask yourself that question and linger in the silence behind the question. Who am I when I want nothing? ... Before I went to India, I was told in a very Divine way by someone sent to me, to come there with an empty heart, and an empty mind, not wanting anything, not desiring anything, not craving anything, not seeking solutions or answers, not seeking anything, not expecting anything at all. And I felt it. I heard that message so clearly. And of course, the mind came up and I said, "Well, how do I do that? How do I go about doing that?" And he said, "just Love God." The Loving replaces the wanting. It eclipses it. You just keep quiet. You go where there are not words, and you find the Love (t)here, and you place your attention (t)here. The wanting may still be (t)here, but your attention is on the Loving, it's on the having. He said, "You come like that, you come empty and open, and you'll get everything you want. After he has become acquainted with these two limited manifestations, in the bodily sound and in his spiritual eye, then, by further spreading of his consciousness in Omnipresence, he sees his small spherical eye of light expand into a cosmic sphere whose luminosity conflagrates the whole universe. Similarly, as the devotee listens to Pranava, the holy sound of Aum, he forgets the restrictions of the human body and of space and can feel the Aum of his body vibrating into a perception of his cosmic body. He feels his consciousness vibrating everywhere with the ever expanding Aum sound. What stage are you in right now? What stage is this in the story of you, in the story of your unfoldment? Can you kiss it, the way God is kissing you? Can you look at it, the way God sees it? You have to keep discriminating between the real and the unreal. This, that you find yourself in was not sent to hurt you. It was sent to heal you. It was sent to help 'you' find 'You'. Relax more. Soften, even more. That's how you kiss the stage. That's how you allow the stage to make room for the next.
