Tony, Johanna, and Crystal gather around to talk about the movie that kicked off the trend of the US remaking Japanese horror films, The Ring! In this movie review/podcast they will talk about all the things that make it a good remake. It takes the basic idea from the original, reworks the plot to make it stand apart, and gives a new backstory to the films antagonist. It sounds like just another urban legend -- a videotape filled with nightmarish images leads to a phone call foretelling the viewer's death in exactly seven days. Newspaper reporter Rachel Keller (Naomi Watts) is skeptical of the story until four teenagers all die mysteriously exactly one week after watching just such a tape. Allowing her investigative curiosity to get the better of her, Rachel tracks down the video and watches it. Now she has just seven days to unravel the mystery. Edited by Jessica Hickson

Tony, Trisha, and Joe from Movie Dumpster get together to talk about the much reviled sequel to The Blair Witch Project, Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2. In this movie review/podcast they will talk about all the reasons this movie is a mess. From the subpar acting, the studio interference, and the fact there is no book of shadows anywhere to be seen. As it follows the twisted path traveled by five people fixated on "The Blair Witch Project," "Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2" journeys into a dark and dangerous place where the line between truth and fiction blurs and perhaps vanishes altogether. From the gigantic sets made to look like the actual ship, the state of the art special effects that broke new ground, and star studded cast! Don't forget that stupid song too. James Cameron's "Titanic" is an epic, action-packed romance set against the ill-fated maiden voyage of the R.M.S. Titanic; the pride and joy of the White Star Line and, at the time, the largest moving object ever built. She was the most luxurious liner of her era -- the "ship of dreams" -- which ultimately carried over 1,500 people to their death in the ice cold waters of the North Atlantic in the early hours of April 15, 1912.

Also its one of Tony's favorite movies. A year after running over a fisherman and dumping his body in the water, four friends reconvene when Julie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) receives a frightening letter telling her that their crime was seen. While pursuing who he thinks is responsible for the letter, Barry (Ryan Phillippe) is run over by a man with a meat hook. After working on the Mission: Impossible 64 episode for the Angry Video Game Nerd I decided to invite my friend Clay on the show to talk about the first movie. Find out why we think Mission: Impossible is the perfect reboot in this Podcast/Movie review. We go over how great the cast was, how tense the stunts worse, and how it treated its source material.
