About this episode
Send me a one-way text about this episode! I'll give you a shout out or answer your question on a future episode. In this episode I am chatting with newbie homemaker, Mallori Tinkler. After working a while as a nurse, Mallori came home full time when her daughter was born. We talk about the challenges of going from 2 incomes to 1 and the importance of a budget that both husband and wife can faithfully participate in. We discuss unrealistic expectations for postpartum life (based on social media comparison) as well as our tendency to overcorrect one way or the other with the “Just a homemaker” and “superwoman” mentalities. This is a lovely conversation filled with all the usual stories of Mallori’s influences, strengths & weknesses, wins, fails, and favorite resources.
