In today's Monday Motivation I'm riffing on the popular Charlotte Mason idea of Mother Culture™ and applying it to the homemaker. Mother Culture™ stresses the importance of cultivating your own soul and mind with the express purpose of having something good, true and beautiful to offer those in your care. Homemaker Culture, as I have experienced it over the past 30+ years, involves claiming small windows of time amidst our busy days to cultivate a rich reading life, religious life, artful life and creative life. This episode will focus on the creative life, with some practical suggestions to help you begin to pursue Homemaker Culture.
