Since 2002, a unique team of highly trained, motivated people have been fighting wildfires across Colorado. But of the 2,500 people who have participated in the State Wildland Inmate Fire Team , or SWIFT, fewer than 10 have gone on to get firefighting jobs after their release from prison.
