Frank and Jason are back with a fresh episode of the podcast following a wild Halloween weekend around the league. To start, they talked about their weekends which featured football and costume parties. It was a wildly unique weekend recap from the guys. Frank also spent some time in Boston talking with NHLPA Executive Director Marty Walsh. It’s the first time that they’ve acknowledged CTE and have formed a new board. Franke explained why this is significant and what the NHLPA hopes to accomplish. Sticking with Boston, it was a drama-filled weekend for the Bruins. While they won both of their games, there was more drama as Jim Montgomery benched David Pastrnak for the entire third period after a turnover. Frank wondered if it was a bridge too far. They then went out west and talked about the Seattle Kraken, who might be open to trading a forward. They also talked about the Carolina Hurricanes and the red-hot Martin Necas.
