30-year-old Hannah Kobayashi left her home in Hawaii on November 8 with an ex-boyfriend. Her plan was to visit New York, but while on a layover in Los Angeles, she missed her connecting flight, and her ex-boyfriend continued without her. In the days since, she has sent strange texts and traveled unpredictably, eventually being seen crossing the U.S. border to Mexico.
