Sometimes it can feel like all the cards are stacked against us, like there’s no way to get out of the situation you’ve been dealt. From a young age Elaine had many obstacles thrown her way, from being groomed, to developing bulimia, to becoming a drug addict. After all of these trials some would think it’s impossible to get through everything she’s been through. However not only has she gotten through it she has thrived as well. She is now living her best life as a public speaker, business woman, wife, mom of seven, and is even running for Mrs Texas. Elaine is such an inspiration when it comes to overcoming one's trauma and I am so happy I was able to have her on.
