These beings, one around the writer's height and the other over eight feet tall, have moss-like green highlights and reddish-brown hair. The taller one gazes at the narrator with what appears to be an apologetic look, and an emotional bond forms as the narrator recognizes them as a protector, an old friend from past encounters.
