About this episode
On this episode I talk about something I would never see. I thought I would never see apathetic Kings fans, an empty arena, booing on a regular basis, but that is what's happened to the Sacramento Kings. Owner Vivek Ranadive has pushed one of the most loyal fan bases out the door including several minority owners. Things in my opinion are at rock bottom. I talk about the early days of the Kings, the old Arco 1. I reminisce about those days and what it was like being a Kings fans and attending games. I reflect on the first playoff game at Arco ll and how truly amazing those days were. Then the 2000's arrived and the Kings became the darlings of the NBA and Sacramento was the place to be with the most electric atmosphere in the league. Now look at it. Fans have said no more, they aren't going to games and things continue to look very bleak for the franchise becoming competitive. I talk about what i think needs to happen for Kings to move back towards respectability. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
