North Carolina went to Raleigh looking for their 2nd ACC road win in as many Saturdays and got it thanks to another dynamic Ian Jackson performance. Jalen Washington saved the day with his first career double-double, the go-ahead dunk, and a game-sealing block. Hubert Davis continues to roll with the same starting lineup, even with Seth Trimble back from injury. The Heels, for the 3rd straight game, don't face a major 1st half deficit. This was a physical affair between the rivals, with both teams struggling from the field in the first half.
