Hydroponics is fast becoming a favorite medium for cannabis growers everywhere! While soil is still very much at the forefront of the industry for Homegrowers, increased availability and accessibility to hydroponics kits and nutrients has seen a substantial increase in the number of people using this system at home. In the first section of this week's PotCast we will give an overview of using cannabis hydroponics systems. We will look at setting up your hydroponics system - everything from what you need to buy, how much it will cost, and how you actually set one up. From here we will also look at some of the benefits of using hydroponics for cannabis, some of the different hydroponic systems, and also maintenance of your hydroponics system. Next, we will look at a more specific form of hydroponics, Deep Water Culture (DWC) which is arguably the most popular form of hydroponics among cannabis growers and gardeners in general. DWC is arguably the easiest hydroponic system to use and provides a lot of benefits. If you're thinking about moving from soil to hydro, then DWC is definitely the place to start!
