Bio: John Henry Parker is a behavioral assessment analyst, and writer who authors work about his own personal hero’s journey through trauma, grief, loss, recovery, and personal transformation. He is a former U.S. Marine, and the son of a Marine, Korean War, and Vietnam Combat Veteran. John’s son, Danny, was an Army Combat Veteran who served two tours in Afghanistan with the 10th Mountain Division. Tragically, after completing his military service, Danny died in a high-speed, adrenaline-seeking motorcycle accident. Through his writings, John is passionate about helping people who suffer from grief, loss and trauma, including the families who support and care for them. He brings reality-based insights to the field of recovery and mental health.
