Catherine Mary Stewart ruled the 80's. Whether it be side by side with The Last Starfighter, spending a Weekend at Bernie's, or battling zombies in Night of the Comet. Catherine Mary Stewart's path from dancer to movie superstar is out of this world. Catherine Mary Stewart starred in The Last Starfighter, Night of the Comet, and Weekend at Bernie's. We discussed what led Catherine to act. We chatted about her journey which began landing the lead role in the movie The Apple and a run on Days of Our Lives as the original Kayla Brady. I took the opportunity to learn more about her time guest-starring on Knight Rider and working with David Hasselhoff. Catherine shared some great stories about auditioning, passing on Family Ties, and being up for the role of Rachel on FRIENDS. Catherine also shared some great stories from the filming of The Last Starfighter (including meeting Robert Preston), being one of the last people on earth with Kelli Maroney in Night of the Comet, and of course some great stories from the sets of Mischief and Weekend at Bernie's.
