We often grab ahold of a negative thought and start building on it, and this often snowballs until we’re completely consumed with negative energy. And these negative thoughts can be directed towards others – including loved ones – or it can be directed towards ourselves. My guest today has a name for this negative self-talk – she calls it head trash. Head trash loves blame and shame. It criticizes everything and hypes up every possible downside, and the little negative voice in your head takes over – making it harder to connect with other people – or yourself for that matter.
