Co-watching screen-time and how to do it

When is screen-time okay and what's the deal with co-viewing. I think screens can be used as medium of play when you are co-viewing with your child. I do ask you avoid screen-time before one year of age to foster normal child development. Listen in on when I think it's reasonable after one year.
