Still just 16 years old, Thomas Heilman is not only one of America's best, but one of the world's best swimmers. Last summer at World Championships, his first, Thomas tied for 4th place in the 200 Fly, going 1:53.82. How fast is that? Well, when Michael Phelps was 20 years old he set the World Record going 1:53.80. Thomas recently signed with Arena and committed to swim at the University of Virginia. He has declined to participate in the Doha World Championships, as he is focused on his training to make the Paris 2024 team.
